Can not login to Uverse App

I tried logging into the AT&T Uverse app and was forced to go to att.com and reset my password. I did and still can not login to the Uverse app. I have a login email that ends with att.net and linked an old sbcglobal.net email to it quite some time ago. Any advice on how to login to the Uverse app would be appreciated.

Good morning, claudiaoconnell! We understand that you're having a problem logging into the U-Verse TV app.  We can help with that. 


We want to apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you. However, we are experiencing a problem with the app at this current time. Our engineers are aware of the issue and working towards a resolution. There is no ETA at this time, but there is a work around. 


Please try logging in with you U-Verse Member ID, which is the full email address that is registered. 


If you do not know what that is, please reply back and we can point you in the right direction.

Another user had success very recently unlinking emails accounts and was then able to use their att.net member ID to login to the app.  
I myself do not use linked accounts.
