Can no longer login to U-verse app (iPhone)

Has anyone had trouble logging into their U-verse app? Since last week I cannot. I can log in to my At&t just fine with same password but not the U-verse app. Previously I could. I’ve changed my password repeatedly and have used the same username (email) for years. At&t support was absolutely no help. Does anyone know the fix? The message I’m getting is please log in with your U-verse member ID. (Email) well my member ID is the email I’ve been using for the U-verse app for years. What is going on? I would like to be able to program my DVr remotely as I always have. Especially paying $300 a month I need to be able to utilize what I’m paying for as we all do, thanks in advance.

I'd look through the U-verse TV section of the forum to see if any of the suggestions made to date will help.  The TL;DR version is to find out which userid is associated with you att BAN and get it working.  You’ll find it listed in the profile section of the myAT&T app, probably shown as a linked account.

This is a system wide issue that we are aware of and working hard to resolve for you! The workaround we had was to try the member ID, which we see you've already tried. Once this is resolved you'll know as you'll be able to log into the app again.

I created a thread with a work around a couple of days ago, and another user has stated that it worked for him (in another thread).  You need to create a completely new sub account and use that to log into Uverse.  It should be just a simple sub-account, no need to try to make that your main account.  When I did mine, I did give it permission to place 'orders' or some such thing (it was a simple checkbox on the subaccount setup panel).
