att service

dvr failed, called for new one, sent wireless router, called again sent dvr. this dvr skips when playing back recording, called again, received wireless router again, then received bad dvr again. been on phone for over 1 hour today. had appt but tech never showed up. worst service i have ever had dealing with anything.

In the meantime, check out our article about troubleshooting your U-verse TV DVR. Its full of great tips and tricks you can use to troubleshoot your equipment. Here's what we'd suggest doing to get you started:

  • For recordings that are skipping: Try to skip back and replay, or stop and restart the recording. If that doesn't work, reboot your DVR receiver by pressing and holding the POWER button for 5 seconds. Then, press the POWER button again to turn the DVR on.
  • Restart your U-verse TV receiver (DVR) by holding down the POWER button for 5 seconds, then press it again to restart. (This takes 5-8 minutes and impacts any DVR recordings in progress.)
