Asked to return equipment after service transfer

Hello ATT. I recently transferred my u200 and gigabyte fiber internet to my new address. What ami being asked to return my equipment? I am using same DVR, modem and remote as previous address. I do not want to be charged for this equipment and do not need new equipment. Thank you.

Did you stay in the same market?

 

Moving to a different market would require returning equipment  assigned to one market and receiving equipment for the new market?

 

Markets vary state.... Wisconsin has 3 markets, the SE Milwaukee, the NE Green Bay and the Central Madison (state capitol). Moving from the Milwaukee market to anyplace non market including out of state would require the return of equipment.
