$15 AT&TConnectDallas charge?
Why do I have a credit card debit from AT&TConnectDallas for $15? Does AT&T now charge for chatting with a representative?
I chatted to confirm receipt of my Uverse receiver and went round and round with the agent. He could not answer a simple question. Did AT&T get it from UPS and will my $8 monthly fee be removed. I am changing from 5 receivers to 4 and since one is free, I should not be billed for 3 receivers. In essence I want to still have one courtesy receiver and 3 billed receivers.
Now, I seem to be billed for chatting with someone so that I am not inconveniencing the customer service phone lines.

Send them a private message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your Uverse service ATT Connect/receiver problems. They are available M-F 8am-11pm Eastern time (also around on weekends), response may take up to 2 business days.
This is not the regular CS/TS phone people, but the social media Community Specialists that know the people to contact to get things done. I personally know as they've helped me on a DVR swap.
Include your account#, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.
Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉

I appreciate your quick response. I was never advised there would be a service charge for chatting about the return of a receiver.
I contacted C/S by phone initially and was advised to return the receiver via UPS. I also was extended some credits to my account. I did not receive any of the services you mentioned.
Is the $15 generated from chatting or C/S live?
