Streaming on Chromebook
I signed up for DirectTVNow. My device is a chromebook with Google Chrome 54. When I tried to stream I got a message saying my browser was wrong. But it mentioned that Google Chrome 50+ would work.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Please click the "Me too" button on the posters message if this affecting you. Maybe they will look at those and escalate based on the number of reported issues.

I had the same problem with my ASUS Flip, evidently it's something having to do with Microsoft Silverlight. I did however find a workaround if you have a newer Chromebook (one that you can install Android apps on.) I just installed the DirecTV Now app and am streaming on my Chromebook now. Here is a list of Chromebooks that support now, or will support Android apps soon. Hopefully yours will be there. https://www.chromium.org/chromium-os/chrome-os-systems-supporting-android-apps

That only works for a few Chromebooks.

Yep, that's why I said if yours can do Android apps, and gave you the list of what does have, and will have them. 😉 Hopefully yours will soon.
