Black screens

The screen goes black from time to time on my iPad using the ATT TV Now app. It remains black until I reboot.

I appreciate you letting me know! Have you noticed if the screen goes black on specific networks/shows, and then does it occur on both Live and On Demand content?

 

Also, have you noticed this occurring on any other devices such as your mobile phone or computer?

I know it regularly happens on Live content, but that’s the only content I watch via this app.  I’ve never used the app on my phone or PC.

Are you able to login to the service onto a mobile device or computer/laptop? That way we can see if this issue is device specific and locate the underlying cause.

I just updated my Android phone to a newer version of the Android system version 10, and ever since I did that all my channels on my AT&t TV now app are black screen, but everything else works like sound and menus. I've been talking to technical support for 2 days now and they keep saying they're working on it, I'm hopeful they will fix it because I hate not being able to watch TV for 2 days now!

I've tried everything uninstall reinstall, restarting my phone, software update both Android system and AT&t TV now app, all software is up-to-date. Technical support says that they've opened a ticket oh, it's been 2 days now and they're still working on it! Keeping my fingers crossed

Two days ago support said they made some kind of adjustment on their side and instructed me to delete and reinstall app. Hasn’t blacked out since then.
