AT&T TV Now - The DVR function has never worked correctly. I want to cancel contract

I have had the service almost 3 months. Made multiple contacts to Tech Service regarding the DVR function. Issues have never been resolved.

I cannot trust that a show that has been set up to record will or that all episodes of a show will record. 

I want to change providers and do not want to have to pay a penalty for a service which never worked.

Having the same problems.  About to cancel as well.  This is not acceptable.

Have you been able to talk with Tech Support ,not the usual customer service agents? Have you had any feedback from customer service? I feel as though I am beta testing a product in development that is not ready for release. There are definitely glitches in the program that sets up DVR recording. If we're guinea pigs, we should not be charged for this inferior product.

Yes, I dealt with actual tech support, although it is the same group in the Phillipines that does their customer service.  Super polite but never seem to fix anything.

Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. We did determine that there was an issue but that it should have been resolved this morning. 

 

If the issue persists, please reboot your device by unplugging it for 30 seconds and try your DVR again.

Let's see if this fix corrects the problem with the DVR function not recording consistently. I hope they have corrected this.

 I am now able to schedule and record on the AT&T TV Live. Shows and episodes are now showing up as expected. I want to see if this 'fix' stays in place for a couple more weeks before I will believe the problem has been resolved.  

Have you noticed a change?

Six days ago I saw this on another member's site. This person is having the same problems that I have experienced.

AT&T wrote "Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. We did determine that there was an issue but that it should have been resolved this morning. "

I then noticed that the DVR is now recording programs I have set up to record and all episodes set up have also recorded. I am also able to set up recording on the website.

If this 'fix' holds, my problem will have been solved. I will wait for another week or so before I conclude that the issue is resolved.

My experience is the same as yours. Issue appears to be resolved.
