It has been posted that AT&T TV Now is planning to cease services. Is this true?

It's basically a rename and some shuffling around of options. AT&T TV Now is becoming the "no contract" option of AT&T TV (which it pretty much always was). For new subscribers, the Plus and Max plans go away, the DVR becomes an extra cost add on (well, you get 20 hours bundled, which those of us with "original" grandfathered accounts have always had), you can buy Ospreys, a few other changes. If you already have an AT&T TV Now subscription, you can keep it as it is as long as you keep your subscription up. (The same as those of us with original DirecTV Now subscriptions have been able to keep them.) Will AT&T ever force existing subscribers out? It's possible, but they seem pretty good at letting existing customers keep old plans - I've had cell phone plans they no longer offered for many years, and my AT&T TV Now plan (nee DirecTV Now plan) is a fair number of years "obsolete".
Not that I’ve heard
AT&T Now is being pushed into AT&T TV. Current AT&T TV Now will still be available for current subscribers but new customers will be directed to AT&T TV.
