Yale Door Lock Change in Behavior?

Was there some kind of update pushed out that changed behavior of the button-less Yale door lock.  The lock is still working but until a couple of weeks ago I could unlock my front door, go outside, and simply touch the touch panel on the lock and it would lock the door back.  Now every time I try to do this the lock acts like I'm trying to unlock the door (it's already unlocked!) and says "Time expired".  I've tried removing the batteries from the lock and even disconnected power from the entire system (including the backup battery) to try and reset the system.  The issue with the Yale door lock persists, and I'm unable to lock the door from outside without using the mobile app.

I had the same issue turned out to be a low battery on the lock

Hello, There has not been a behavior change with the Yale door locks. I see you mentioned that you removed the batteries. Please try replacing the batteries with 4 new batteries and let us know if that resolves the issue. Thank you very much.
