unable to get Yale 220 lock to exit DL network (unpair)

how do i get my Yale 220 deadbolt lock to unpair with the DLC?

i want to pair it with my Ring controller, but one first has to unpair with the DLC.

i entered Master code # 7 # 3 # but it is not accepted.

is the network module ATT 2.0 CP 2-5-3 proprietary?

If you still have a Digital Life account, Please contact our Customer Support team at 1-855-288-2727, select option 4, and Digital Life Agent will assist you with unpairing from the Digital Life Controller.

If the system is no longer monitored, disconnect your DLC from power (AC & DC), then try to unpair again. The lock is local and does not need the DLC to unpair.

@preeser33

You will need you lock's master code or reset the lock to fully unpair from the Zwave network.

I pulled the steps for you.

If you know the current master code, then you can change it at the door lock keypad.

1. Enter master pin then press #

2. Enter 1 then #

3. Enter New Master pin then #

4. press * to end program

If you forgot the current master code, you will need to do a factory reset on the lock.

1. Remove battery cover

2. Remove batteries

3. Remove the two screws behind the batteries

4. Remove the screw at the very bottom of the lock.

5. carefully remove the entire back plate

6. press the button on the circuit board just above where the wires are connected

7. Keep holding the button while you replace the batteries.

8. Release button once batteries are in

9. The code is now reset to the default code of 12345678

10. Reassemble the lock and follow the above directions to set a new code.

I hope this helps. :-)

yes, i have my master code. when i enter "master code # 7 #" i get to the network module settings. my only choice is "3 #" to exit the network (which is what i want). however, when i enter that, i get the error tones and all the numbers flash randomly. so it does not want to unpair from the DL controller.

As others have found I could not unpair my Yale lock from the AT&T system. When I called support they informed me the lock was only compatible with AT&T and brinks. The network module in the lock has an AT&T serial number on it and indeed even after they deleted the lock from the system it won’t unpair. Probably if you bought your lock from AT&T it’s locked in. Maybe I can order a new network module?
