Thermostat is not working

I have my target temperature set at 70 but its 80 degrees in the house.  The unit will not kick on.

Huh? Either contact the thermostat's mfr or check to see if it is connecting to your router.

The thermostat is part of the Digital Life alarm  system. There is no mfr information on the thermostat. I don’t have a user guide.

Just a few questions to help me troubleshoot the issue.

  1. Did you set the thermostat from the app, manually on the thermostat, or both?
  2. If you set the thermostat from the Digital Life app, did it change the target temperature (not the actual temperature) to whatever you set it to?

I set the thermostat both ways.  Using the app, the temperature did change.  Mysteriously,  the next day the system came on for a few minutes.  So, it has a mind of its on and it comes on whenever it wants.
