Digital life alarm beeping repeatedly

Bought a home with att system, but not active, a couple days ago it started beeping one lone beep every couple hours and if i dont press # to silence it keeps beeping every 5 minutes. I changed the batteries on all the window sensors but that did not help. I have to get up at 2 in the morning to silence it or it keeps beeping every 5 minutes

@dr122204 Hello. The system is wanting updates, however, since it's not an active system it cannot receive them. The only way to stop the beeping is to unplug the main controller & remove the battery or activate service.

@ardonnell The door beeping will only work if the system is active.

@jackied39home

Good morning,

I replied to your other posting with the following:

I’m not sure where your siren is located but I can describe how it looks. It is a white rectangular box (approximately 3 x 5”) which would be plugged in to a regular outlet. Once you locate the siren, you will need to replace the batteries with two CR 123 lithium batteries.

If you still cannot locate the siren, please contact us again and I will try another option.
