spam texts from email

Have been receiving a crazy amount of group text messages (inappropriate and otherwise) from email addresses. Since it is an email, I cannot block them. How can we stop these from happening? Is there some intervention that AT&T can provide?

Nobody likes annoying calls or text messages, @Flame101!


Allow us to assist. While it's possible to report fraudulent text messages here, currently, AT&T offers Call Protect app which blocks spam calls and helps manage unwanted calls.


It's likely you may want to try to search for a 3rd party app which may help resolve your current experience with spam text messages arriving from email addresses.
