We want to assist with removing Call Protect from your device, @Rickob52.
What type of device do you have? Sharing this information will help us provide a more personalized solution. Typically, you should just be able to uninstall the app from your device by holding down the widget on your home screen until the 'delete app' option appears.
You have the option to opt-out of the Call Protect app through the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), att.com/myatt, or myAT&T app in the Account menu:
Please note that the The AT&T Call Protect app sunsets soon, so you may not be able to resume your subscription once you opt out. You'll find the same features in AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app. The basic features of AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security are free to all AT&T wireless postpaid and prepaid customers. Customers can upgrade to include advanced mobile security features for $3.99 month if they are not included with their price plan.
Requirements for AT&T ActiveArmor:

iPhone 13.... downloaded the ATT call protect, free basic version, to keep unknown callers from calling all the time.... then decided I could just use the contact blocking/unblocking on my phone, so did the normal tap and hold to delete app (and supposedly all its settings) from my phone... even though everything on phone is set to allow all calls... it will not.... there must be some left over setting from that app stopping my phone from ringing if they're not in my contact list... all I want is my phone back to normal.... and I have tried literally everything I could find... local ATT store/rep is clueless on how to make it ring again..... help!!
