Port forwarding with mobile hotspot

Can’t get decent internet where I live (486 kb currently) tried to use mobile hotspot to connect my PlayStation 4 to the internet and ran a speed check. I’m getting 12mb but my nat type is 3. What can I do to chang the nat type to 2?

Hello @Quadeopotato,

We'd be more than happy to take a closer look into your options. Would you kindly let us know what the make and model is for your mobile hotspot device, so that we can better assist you? We'll be patiently awaiting your response.

Hello @Quadeopotato,

Thanks for letting us know. You won't be able to change the NAT type for your cell phone's personal mobile hotspot. However, we do have a couple of dedicated mobile hotspot devices that can be used for gaming. The Nighthawk LTE Mobile Hotspot Router (MR1100) and NETGEAR Nighthawk 5G Mobile Hotspot (MR5000) are the only devices we offer that can be used as a wireless router for game consoles at this time. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
