I get to the point where it asks me where I want my code texted to and it won’t acknowledge the submit code selection

Thank you for reaching out. Have you already set up your myAT&T account and are just trying to access it? Try removing the app and reinstalling it to see if that helps. You can also try to sign in through the site.

Turns out I have been having the same problem for a while now. For the section of where you want the code sent to, I'm given my options and then displayed with a Blue "Send Code", a Gray "Send Code" and then a White "Cancel" option. I select which option I want the code sent to and out of the 2 send code options I have nothing happens. After waiting a while the 2 options actually combine to display 1 Blue "Send Code" button and it takes me to where I can enter my security code, now here comes the other obstical.
Once at the option to enter the code sent to me, the Blue "Submit" option doesn't do anything either. After waiting a while with the code in the text field it automatically clears the field out and you see a visual update the screen flashes if you pay close attention. At that point I input the code I was sent again and the Blue "Submit" option acutally takes the input and lets me log into my account.
This is my first attempt logging into my account on this device so make sure after you log in that it saves your device so that it doesn't happen again. Don't know if this will work for you or others witht the same problem that I had, but AT&T might want to look into why the security login screens are having delays on when the option to move forward in the login proccess.
Device used with problem were Iphone Xs, Iphone Xr.
Computer based login have no difficulties.
