Hi @WHITEHEAD1000

Thank you for posting your question in AT&T Community Forums! That is a great question and we are definitely here to help!

The Purchase Blocker is placed on the account restricting mobile purchases billed to your AT&T bill.

  • Only purchases billed to the AT&T bill are blocked.
  • Purchases made through partner storefronts such as Google Play, iTunes, and Windows Marketplace can still bill through a credit card or other means of payment.

With removing the Purchase Blocker on the line, you have two options- through the myAT&T online account or by contacting AT&T directly.

With doing it online, you are going to go into the myAT&T account online → Tap on the drop down menu “I Want To…” → Manage my Plan → View my Plans and Features. If you have multiple lines on the account, select the line that you are wanting to remove the purchase blocker from → Remove Purchase Blocker and Save.

To learn how to manage your mobile purchases from the AT&T mobile purchase website, view purchases, cancel subscriptions, and block or set purchase limits, you can click on Managing mobile purchases and subscriptions.

If you are unable to remove the restriction from the line, don’t hesitate to send us a private message with your full name and phone number. We can go ahead and get this issue resolved for you.

Hope this helps! Thank you for choosing AT&T for your wireless services!
