HBO max
How can AT&T send out a notification that your have free HBO Max and then turn around and say that you don’t? Why send out an offer that you aren’t going to honor? Sounds like fraud?

@skeeterintexas Do you recall what made AT&T Unlimited Choice Enhanced be 'enhanced'?

Depending on which customer service rep you get: 1) I’m supposed to be getting the HBO Max, 2) AT&T hasn’t done HBO Max since June of 2022, or 3) no, I don’t get it even though they sent me the notice and added a tile to my account.
Seems par for the course. I’ve only been with them 2 days and went through “porting issues”, then “activation issues” which the sales guy said I would be able to use Wi-Fi calling. Got home and the Wi-Fi calling wouldn’t turn on, error message to call AT&T, but I couldn’t make a call. Got on the chat and some “expert” told me it would take 24 hours for activation. Went to Walmart and bought a burner phone that worked in a snap. Cell service finally kicked in on the AT&T phone and I get one bar. Called customer support and they said that there are “tower issues” in my area. I asked what they’re going to do about that, need the phone. The guy says I’ll need a cell booster… that, of course, *I* would have to pay for because the customer should always have to pay extra for bad service. Then, I get this notice - and the tile - to have free HBO Max and think, hey; maybe there’s a perk after all, but apparently not. Just more bad service and possibly fraud.

Which plan are you on?
Because free HBO Max takes the edge off of having bad service?

If you’ve only been with them 2 days, your plan does not include HBOMax. None of ATT’s current plans include HBOMax, only the list of grandfathered plans listed above include it. Why your account page says you have it, I can’t explain.
