Gaming on ps4 with hot spot

Can I play with my 6g plan on hot spot mode on ps4 or Xbox one? I have mobile share plan

While your PS4 and Xbox should be able to connect to your mobile hotspot just fine, I would imagine it would eat up your data pretty quickly. Lag time may affect gaming quality as well. I would recommend to start with playing only a 20 minute session, then check your data usage so you can get an idea of how many gaming hours you can play without going over your 6GB limit. You’ll also want to factor in how many GBs you average on your phone’s data usage.

This question come up often.  This doesn't work.  While you will connect, you will not stay connected and will lag.  There are ports not open to you using cellular connection, that are needed to play online games
