AT&T Call Protect

AT&T Call Protect hasn't been working for me for a couple months now.  Not sure what happened to it. I'm getting so many spam calls now. Would really like to get it back. When I open the app, it asks me to enable the app.  After about 2 minutes of staring at it, I finally get the message "Something went wrong.  The system is currently unavailable.  Please check your connection and try again later."  I've been trying periodically for the past couple months.  Not sure how much later it is referring to?

We are happy to assist you with these concerns.

 

Have you tried to uninstall the App and install it again?  Also please make sure your device software is up to date.  Click the preceding link and choose your device from the menu at the top.

 

Once you have followed all of the instructions above, if you are still having issues, please reply back and provide answers to the following questions:

  • Make/Model of your device and when you purchased it.
  • Did you purchase your device from AT&T or a third party retailer?
  • Do you have issues with any other apps on your device? 
  • Did you complete the pin verification process when setting the app up?

I too am having the same problem with ATT Call protect.   The app is native to my Galaxy S10 and I cannot uninstall/reinstall it. 

 

I can only disable it.

 

I am having excessive spam calls and I need this app to work.

 

I have the number blocked on my phone...but the calls still get through.

When I called support about it, they had my pull up the app in Google play store.  It had an option to uninstall.  Then I could  reinstall it.
