Active Armor "Submit" button not accessible

I have an iPhone 8.  The "submit" button is hidden behind the virtual keyboard, so I can't reach it to report spam.  Turning the phone 90 degrees does nothing.  Does anyone know how to make the keyboard disappear or be moved, or is this a bug that must be fixed by the developer?

We're here to assist you with moving your keyboard  @wickmcc.

Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards. Tap a language at the top of the screen, then select an alternative layout from the list. Then you should be able to access the submit button.

Let us know if this helps.

I changed my English US keyboard from QWERTY to AZERTY.  All that does is change the layout of the characters within the overriding keyboard.  I also tried an Arabic keyboard.  That does not make the keyboard any smaller or able to be moved or shrunk in size.  I think it would help if the app allowed an alternate view that would expose the "Submit" and/or the "Skip description" buttons if the phone were turned 90 degrees.   Or a button to dismiss the keyboard altogether.

Thank you for your response @wickmcc.

Can you bring up the keyboard so that it is visible. At the very bottom right of the keyboard is an icon that looks like the keyboard with a down arrow. Touch and hold the icon and a small popup will appear giving you the choice to undock(move it up to the middle of the screen) or split it.

Once you complete the steps let us know if you were able to move your keyboard.

Thank you for providing this screenshot, @wickmcc

We have a few other methods you can try to close your iPhone's virtual keyboard. If you haven't already, try doing some of these methods to either dismiss or collapse the keyboard:

  • Put your finger on the screen just above the keyboard, and swipe down. The keyboard should follow along with the motion and collapse.
  • Put your finger on the screen on the left above the keyboard, and swipe right. This motion is often used to go back, and may close out of your virtual keyboard.
  • Try tapping the grey X in the description box, or anywhere outside the box or keyboard. Your device may think you're still typing a reply, so tapping out may close the keyboard.

If you're still unable to close the keyboard or view the submit button, try reporting the spam on our website instead. This report form will be the same one as on the app, and the report will be researched and flag the number in the same way.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, we'll always be here to help.

Thank you for your response.  None of those techniques was successful.   I followed your link to report one manually.  That will work, however tedious it may be.  Please do me the favor of reporting this problem to the developers for resolution in an upcoming release.  I won’t be upgrading to the advanced version until this version works properly.  Thanks!

Hello wickmcc, let's get you pointed in the right direction for your iPhone 8 and the virtual keyboard.

If none these steps are working, we would recommend to reach out Apple support for specific instructions.

If that doesn't help you please reach back out so we can bring you into a Direct Message to submit feedback.

Thank you for visiting AT&T Community Forums!

It's not an Apple problem.  It's your app, not theirs, and evidently your developers neglected to code it to allow for minimizing the virtual keyboard, or to rotate the screen when the phone is rotated, assuming that might even help.  I've tried in vain to find someone on AT&T with a different model iPhone to see what happens to them.  Have you tried to duplicate the problem on an 8 or any other iPhone model?  Please bring me into a Direct Message so I can submit feedback.  Thanks.
