How do I get my veteran's discount applied?
I just recently signed up to get internet and tv for my new house. I thought there was a veteran's discount for those services but I have called customer service and they have directed me to a website that doesn't;'t work. Can someone please help me find a way to get the discount applied?
Please and thank you,
Richard Gavin

Hello there, @rich2100!
Military veterans are eligible to save 25% on eligible wireless plans. On the AT&T Unlimited StarterSM plan, this discount brings the cost of these plans as low as $27 per line for 4 lines, allowing you to stay connected to everyone you love - plus enjoy exclusive savings every month!
More details about the offer can be found in the article linked above, but if you have any other questions for us, please let us know. We're always eager to help!

Can I apply for the Veterans discount on line. cannot find where to do that on the ATT.com/militarysavings as I was told to do by a customer support person over the phone.
I have restricted mobility so it is VERY difficult to go to a store.

It's all smoke and mirrors. Just a PR campaign to think they care about vets. Try explaining the discount program to their cracker jack customer service team abroad- pack a lunch!
They assume risk in costumer service because they can. Senior leadership is ethically failing. I have been with AT&T wireless and direct TV from their inception in the program.
It is what it is! Sorry warriors.

@ANFRASCO I have no idea what you are calling “smoke and mirrors” but I’m getting the veterans discount on wireless, internet and tv. It is certainly real for me. However, the discount for internet and tv service was discontinued at the end of August. Only those already getting the discount still get it. If you aren’t getting a discount you believe you should, please identify what. We may be able to help.

Good day,
I should be getting $15 off internet and $15 off DirecTv however I have not been able to locate where to request this discount. When I signed up with AT&T in September they ensured me that I would be able to get this discount.

@ShiSmith77 Sorry to say but the $15 military discount for internet and tv service was discontinued at the end of August. If you signed up in September, you won’t be getting those discounts. It is quite possible whoever told you that you would get the discounts did not know they had been discontinued.
