So my only concern is the sim cards. I know the iPhone uses a nano sim and the Galaxy uses a micro sim, when I buy the Galaxy will I have to get a different phone number because it will have a different sim card or can my phone number be transfered over to the new card?

I got the 4.4.4 update on Feb5th and since then the performance of the phone has seriously degraded. There is lag in responsiveness on touch, especially when typing. Changing keyboards hasn't helped. It is no more possible to stream any videos from Netflix or youtube or any other streaming service.
