micro-SIM to nano-SIM..iphone4 to 5

Daughter given off contract iPhone 5 by aunt (aunt upgraded to 6) easiest way to swap micro for nano is a store visit, correct? Any other caveats I'm missing..don't think I need unlock or anything, right? Thanks in advance smart people
