Do firewall rules (such as flood limiting TCP/ UDP packets) apply when using IP passthrough to own router or are all packets passed to own device regardless of firewall rules on ATT router?

Summary:Scenario 2 seems both standard and optimal but doesn't work with the NVG. BGW210 Owners - What do you see in Diagnostics - Logs?

I have ATT Fiber with a BGW210 modem that is set to IP passthrough to my Unifi USG router. When I go to Diagnostics - Logs in the modem I can see my Internal IP addresses (ie. 192.168.1.21) as the SourceIP and the external sites that they are connecting too.
