My wife and I were in Mexico last month with our iPhones set to "Cellular Data" OFF, "Roaming" OFF, and "Wi-Fi Calling" ON.  My wife has the international plan were if you make at least one international call (which they all will be since we were out of the country) you get charged $10 for the day.

I feel stupid this morning.I went to Toronto for a few days and came back to a $300 bill.On my iphone I turned off cellular data and thus roaming, and made sure WiFi calling was on.I called my wife every night when I was on Wifi in the hotel. Was I incorrect in thinking it was free?
