IPHONE - can no longer get emails, fails with username or pwd incorrect

My wife's Iphone can no longer get emails. Just quit working.  it states,  Cannot get Mail, the user name or password for "imap.mail.att.net" is incorrect.  But it is correct, and I can login just fine on a PC.  I tried deleting the email account off the phone and readding it, but now have same fail

I just "updated" from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to the new S6. Now when I go to send a text message, at least half the time it fails to send.
