At&T software update causes wake lock

I was messing around with my phone and touched the AT&T software update under settings.  Now my phone stays awake.  There is no update so the phone constantly checks for a new update.  Restarting helps temporarily but is there a way to stop it from checking for updates constantly?

Unfixable battery drain

My Samsung Galaxy S5 has had an awful battery ever since the Lollipop update. The battery drainer seems to be "Android System" under the battery stats.
