Since August, my ATT pop3 account has been messed up. The email worked fine for years before. I have checked the settings many times and change the Key three times already.  It's time for ATT to fix this!

From my Windows laptop, I know how to view the AT&T Yahoo email source on incoming email that is necessary to prevent phishing. But cannot see how to do so with current 7.22.2 version email app on my moto g6 android smartphone.

I didn’t delete them. I wasn’t hacked.  But virtually all emails since 2019/2020 through May of 2023 have been wiped out.  Not sure if there was some kind of migration of mailboxes or what, but you have wiped out hundreds of critical emails from my mailbox.
