why is my SIM card taking so long? is it because this is for a prepaid account, and not a regular one?

I ordered a sim card on 8/16 to transfer my phone number from verizon back to you. Does it normally take this long? I'm beginning to have second thoughts about leaving my current carrier now, please advise on when i can expect to receive my sim card.

How to retain your number (prepaid, daily plan)

Does World Connect feature work the same way when account holder is in France calling/receiving calls FROM the U.S.??
