Buried line cut other wires while installing

AT&T came and buried my fiber line. They inadvertently cut the lines going to my HVAC system. So now I don't have AC. How do I go about escalating this issue? Obviously not my fault the installation was done poorly. Would like to be reimbursed for the HVAC costs.

Can you move a gateway to another room?

Originally had internet 25 with the gateway on the living room fireplace mantle. Upgraded to fiber and had the tech move the gateway to a front office.(Didn’t like all the clutter on the mantle).
