Wifi calling is bugged on Note 4
Wifi calling is bugged on Note 4.
Have talked to 5 tech supports with no solution:
1. Verfied network settings in phone are correct.
2. Tried multiple wifi connections and multiple 4G lte areas.
3. Emptied Cache in phone.
4. Reset phone.
5. Started phone in safe mode and tried.
Last resort is do a Full factory reset and try but I do not want to do this on my phone as I have 25 gigs of data and it is time consuming.
Issue:
Trying to do "getting started" on Wifi calling.
Shows wifi calling logo and I hit "continue".
Gets to agreement page and I hit "continue"
Says: " Oops! That wasnt supposed to happen. Give us a minute we'll get it fixed so you can try again. (EDS0060) Retry"
Everything works flawlessly on phone for 2.5 years I've owned it. Tech support says "it's the phones fault" but I do not believe this is entirely true. Every function and multiple other wifi calling software works perfect. There is obvious issue with setup software and it has a bug preventing my phone from regestering. Please fix this bug.

Hello @rbenn674!
I am sorry to hear you are having these WI-FI calling problems. Rest assured, we’ll sort this out!
Have you checked if your software is up to date in the phone? You can check by visiting our Device Support page. Select your make and model of phone, then search ‘software update’.
If the update does not resolve your issue, we will need to gather more information regarding your account. I invite you to send us a private message at @ATTMobilityCare. Please include your full name, account number, and a good phone number to contact you back at.
I hope this works out for you! Let us know how it goes and have a good holiday season!

Last 4 of build : EPK1
Will also add that my account was changed because of other error initially when trying to register with WiFi calling. This change got me a little further to the new error I am at now..

Had some help from a GREAT Tech Support agent (Shenoah)... and she sent me a new SIM Card. She said my SIM Card had an error on it. Problem is now fixed!! Horray! Thanks all 🙂
