Why have insurance
What is the point of having insurance on a device if when you file a claim they send you a device that does not even compare to the product you purchased
I have a Samsung Galaxy Book 2 that I did a claim on. Came with a keyboard, pen, charger, and a USB port. They sent me a freaking tablet upgrade. Obviously I do not need another tablet I already have one. This device is NOT Comparable.
I purchased this $1300 device bc my husband was a truck driver and needed it for the business while on the road and now I'm stuck with a giant tablet no keyboard, usb port or anything else that remotely compares to the Book 2.
I called asurian and they said oh its the closet thing if we start a new claim we have to charge you another deductible.
I am very disappointed 😞

AT&T is not your insurance provider asurion is. Asurion ensures the device that is on your line at the time you make a claim. I do hope you did not move the SIM card into a different device before making your claim. This is not an AT&T problem. This is between you and the insurance company. Call them. Explain to them what device you had and give them the IMEI so that they can look it up. And then explain to them what you were sent which is not the same device and not even close.
If they cannot send you a replacement same device, ask them to give you a cash settlement
Cash settlements are usually for the retail value of the lost or destroyed device now, not the original purchase price. And you take that cash less the deductible and go buy your own replacement
