Why do I keep getting included in unwanted group texts with people I don't know?

I keep getting included in group texts with people I don't know and they don't know me or each other. We don't know where these texts are coming from but it appears it's from an email. These texts have been blowing up my phone for the last week. How do I stop this??

Hello @tshanusik,

We can definitely assist you with reporting these unwanted group text messages.

When you report the messages, it will help us identify the offenders and block them.

Please forward the text messages that were sent from that email address to 7726.

You'll receive a reply, then you can respond with the email address that you received the spam message from.

Once you've forwarded the messages to us, there is no further action that needs to be taken.

When I get those texts, it is from numbers similar to my number (at least in the similar 10 digits except last 2 numbers). They just say STOP. My phone has been blowing up all day with these texts. There is no email associated with them that I can find.
