what is the correct APN

my att note 9 has had service issues from day one.
it gets worse. my phone wont send text or recieve calls sometimes
my data is horrible.

@jesscrazymom53 having an intermittent working phone is rough but we are here to help,

 

One of the quickest ways to try and fix this is by doing a power cycle of the device off and back on. Should this not work, try resetting the network settings on the device. Also we want to make sure your device is up to date with the latest firmware available to your IMEI. If the above does not help, please answer the following: 

  • Do these issues happen in one area or anywhere you go? 

  • What zip code are you located in? We can review network issues and see if we have something impacting.

  • In regards to your APN question, did you bring in your device from another carrier? If it is an AT&T Branded device, your APN is fine. If it is not, there are some changes we need to make happen.  

Should none of these fix the issue we recommend using our Store Locator tool to find a retail store near you and have the device inspected physically and in our systems for warranty and replacement options. We can also help do this via customer care but our stores can assist with physically inspecting the phone. We would also recommend using the In-Store Appointment tool to help skip the line because your time is valuable to us. 

 

If these options do not help fix the issue, let us know and we can investigate further.
