Websites do not start from the home screen on mobile

I save my favorite sites as desktop icons on my phone. But when I am connected to Wi-Fi, the sites do not load. However, they are downloaded via the mobile Internet. If you open the site through chrome, then everything works fine. I do not know all sites, I only checked on

https://www.accuweather.com/

https://mirpokera.com.ua/ua/

https://www.ebay.com/

https://www.amazon.com/

As I understand it, when you click on the icon, the site does not open in chrome, but in some other application. Perhaps this is the problem?

Hello @mihaelh,

We'd like to look into why your downloaded apps on you device are malfunctioning.

With more details we can better assist:

  • What is the model of your device?
  • Have you tried Troubleshooting your device for possible software concerns?
  • Have you checked to make sure your software is up to date?
  • What is the function (error message, app crashes) of the app when trying to open the app from your home screen?
  • Is every application on your home screen experiencing the same issue?
  • Have you tried uninstalling the apps and reinstalling them?
  • Have you updated the apps that are experiencing the issue?
  • What exactly do you mean when you say the apps don't load while using WiFi vs Data?
  • Also, are you using your home WiFi or Business WiFi, or other?

Please reach out to us at your earliest convenience and we'll be more than happy to assist.
