Voicemail box

Never needed a password for my voicemail before today asked me for a password. Went to reset it I did two times now and even changed my voicemail # to my phone number from the default voicemail number given to me. The prompt says someone else has logged into my voicemail and hangs up. I can access my visual voicemail but is only showing 2 of My voicemail and deleted all my archived ones. It says I have a voicemail and I know I do but won't let me access. Tried restarting my phone, changing my greeting and now changed my password twice . Help!!!

Well that was a mistake. If you remember the number you deleted, you can put it back yourself. Otherwise you're going to have to contact AT&t to do it for you.

You shouldn't mess around with things you don't understand.

The number you deleted was your voicemail box. Changing it to your actual phone number means you now have no voicemail box attached to your phone .

I didn't just do it willy nilly I researched first don't comment on people's messages assuming they don't know what they are doing. That is not helpful advice and quite frankly rude to assume. If you have nothing nice to say refrain from saying anything at all.

Ps i still have a voicemail box despite making it my phone number. So maybe next time you comment on a questions forum seeking advice actually give advice
