Upload MP3 File Voicemail Greeting
I paid for a professional voicemail greeting but am unable to find the option on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to upload the file. Do I have to call and email AT&T the file to have it uploaded? This should be a simple feature to add.

Greetings @DMGUSA!
We want to advise that, currently, there is no way to upload a personalized voicemail greeting from an audio file to your voicemail service.
We hope this info helps!

Hello @DMGUSA,
We'd like to look into your voicemail feature.
How did you purchase this greeting?
Also, what type of device you own?
Please let us know.

Hello, Joyne:
I paid a voiceover actor to record a personalized greeting for my voicemail. There are many services online that offer these services. I purchased mine through Fiverr.
For my Wix business number, I am simply able to upload the file as my greeting through the app. I don't see that option on my phone and I see many forms on here over the years asking for assistance with this.
I own an AT&T Samsugn Galaxy Note 9.
Your help is appreciated greatly.
Thank you for looking into this,
Dylan

There should be a method where consumers can upload whatever file they wish to a mobile device.
We live in a world where the common mobile device has often replaced the desk/office phone. There are plenty of mobile companies today that allow consumers to upload professional recordings to its platform to maintain its company image.
It would perhaps be most beneficial if AT&T would get on board with modern times to keep up with business and/or the personal pace of consumers.

Why would it be so hard to add a 4th option to allow the support for pre-recorded mp3, m4a or amr audio clips to be uploaded as voicemail greetings ? Out of all the smart and highly intelligent individuals in the world, you would think this would be a very simple feat to achieve.

Did you ever figure this out? I am a voiceover artist myself and just recorded my own custom greeting. I'd like to upload it in a studio quality format, but it appears AT&T making this unnecessarily difficult. Let me know please...

I switched to T-Mobile and pay for an app called YouMail as T-Mobile removed the feature before I became a customer.
