Since the phone is no longer used on your account, apply for the unlock as a non AT&T customer.

@terrywoolum95 Is it, or was it an AT&T branded phone, initially?
If so, you can still unlock it here: https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/wireless/KM1008728

Just check the box for "non AT&T customer" and follow the prompts.

Make SURE to check your email, shortly after submitting, as you'll get a confirmation email from AT&T, which has a link that MUST be used, otherwise the process will get blocked, and expire.

*If this (or another post in this thread) fixes your problem/issue, please mark it as solved, and I'll tag it, to make it easier for others to find the answer(s). Thanks.
