Hi I recently received an unlock code for my Samsung galaxy note 5 I powered off the device inserted non AT&T  SIM powered it back on after entering the unlock code I received unlock successful the "phone is not allowed mm#6 message please help me

Thank you for reaching out the Community Forums.  I am sorry about the difficulties trying to use your Samsung Galaxy Note 5.  I have some suggestions to help you correct this error message.

 

Please confirm the SIM card given by the provider is active.  If not please contact them to activate it, or replace it.  Also, confirm the unlock code provided by us unlocks the device.  If it did not accept it after first entry, we may need to verify the status of the code we provided.  Please respond to the private message sent to your Forum’s Inbox if you need the unlock code to be reviewed.

What carrier are are you trying to use?   An ATT Note 5 willonly work in compatible GSM networks.  Not Sprint or Verizon
