Unlock Samsung Galaxy Book2 (Snapdragon 850 Windows 10 Desktop PC)

I have purchased two of these devices, more than two weeks ago.

While I also have an AT&T account, I was unaware that the devices were locked to AT&T only.

My previous purchase of a Snapdragon device, the Asus Nova Go, was *not* locked to any particular provider.

I will need to return my devices unless I am provided with instructions to unlock them promptly.

Please let me know what my options are - thank you.

I've tried to unlock the device using the built-in ATT app and my existing cellular line.

The app cannot read my mobile number, it displays garbage, but the IMEI is there.

When I insert the IMEI into the web site for the unlock request, it complains that the IMEI cannot be traced to my data line.

I just got off a really long chat with ATT through the online portal for my existing account.

They first claimed my devices have outstanding payments, which I refuted.

Then they said I simply must use 60 days of ATT service on the devices before they allow them to be unlocked.

I told them this is unacceptable for a device purchased at full price.

Net result: They weren't able to help. I'm returning BOTH devices, AND cancelling my ATT phone service.

I've been a loyal customer for a very long time, never late on my payments, and paid a fortune in roaming charges.

Not any more.

These people also have serious security liabilities, for anyone concerned:

Best to find another provider, I suppose...
