Turn off 5g and 4g on

So seems like att has disabled this option for users on their cell phone devices. I have a Samsung S20 FE. We are in a spotty 5g area so I have had poor cell phone reception for the last 6 months.  I can heat the person fine, but my voice to them is garbled.  Trying to turn off the 5g and trying to see if 4g would alleviate this issue. ATT has been no help whatsoever after spending hours on the phone with them multiple times.  So ready to switch to Verizon at this point. Any help would be appreciated

Look up Samsung Band Selection in the Google Play Store.

That's what I use on my S20 FE. Once it's installed, open the app and press the "More Network Settings" option. That gets you to the network selection page that AT&T hides from you. 

Just a warning though. If the 5G signal is week, chances are the LTE isn't any better. That's what I've discovered at least. I think it's more about the tower.  A weak tower is a weak tower regardless of the network type you're getting. 

Your phone is supposed to pick the strongest signal, and I'll bet you'll find that the LTE is just as weak.
