Still have not received S21+ Android 13/One UI 5 update

From what I understand the S21+ Android 13/One UI 5 update has been out for a few days now and I still have not received the update. My phone is an AT&T branded model. Should I be worried that I will not get the update?

Still nothing but all other US carriers seem to have received 13.  Not particularly surprising given previous update rollouts...

My device doesn't update using Settings/Software Updates/Check For Updates. It says the version (11) is current. Has ATT or Samsung provided an update for this? Thanks

Hi Zephyr424, we are here to help with your software update!

 

First, we'll need to confirm if your device is compatible to our network. Please share your device model number, so we can confirm compatibility or check out the AT&T branded devices that will work on our network after the 3G shutdown. 

 

Next, you'll want to make sure that: 

  1. Your battery is fully charged.
  2. Are in the U.S on our network to download the update.
  3. Connected to a Wi-Fi network. 
  4. Have enough space for the download.

 

Learn how to check for updates by swiping down the notification bar, then selecting the Settings icon>About tablet>Software information(to view your currect software info).

 

Then to Notification bar>Settings icon>Software update>Check for updates to download the latest software update.

I have the device listed above. I've been following Samsung, android and Google News on the roll outs for the z fold 3 and have not received the update yet. Is there any word on when that is coming through att?

Everyone else is getting Android 13 on their carrier branded S21's, and once again we are last to the party! It's out and available...I never see you guys doing this to Apple users! As soon their updates are released by Apple, their users can upgrade! Why can't we get the same courtesy?

Apple does not release updates through the service providers they are released directly to the phones. That's not even an Apples to Apples comparison. (had to) 

Actually there were people on here with s22 Ultra and s22 plus that got their updates weeks before my unlocked non-carrier-branded s22 got its update.  My s22 didn't get Android 13 until Thanksgiving weekend.

Apple updates are done directly to the Apple phones, not thru the carriers. Oops! I see @formerlyknownas already mentioned that. Not all updates are release at the same time to all users/carriers.

You asking me that?  I am a Samsung user.  Most of us here are phone users too.

As noted, some AT&T customers have been getting the update, so it's not all Samsung users.

I figure I'll have to wait until the end of the month.

I have a s21 plus and it's carrier locked to att. I am still on one ui 4.1, has anyone else locked to att have one ui 5 yet?

I know this doesn't directly answer your question... 

I have an unlocked phone and didn't get Android 13 on my s22 until Thanksgiving weekend. It made absolutely no difference. No new bells or whistles. Is the least impressive, least exciting update that I've ever gotten on an Android phone and I've had Android phones for 10 years.

Even Tech reviewers have said that this is the most boring least impressive most non-update-like update that there has ever been
