Spam texts

My husband and I are on the same plan. We both received the same message from each others phone saying we were busy at the moment and to text them. Neither one of us sent it. What can I do about it?

Thank you for clarifying for us. We'd like for you to check your settings for us. To start, go to the Phone app. Please navigate to: Menu Button > Settings > General Settings > Quick responses. Let us know what you see once you're there, and whether or not you have any quick responses set up. We look forward to hearing back from you!

Thanks for reaching out! We'd love to help. What type of devices do you and your husband have? Are you receiving these texts at specific times? Or, is it completely random? Have you updated your devices with the latest available software? Lastly, have you made any recent changes to your devices/accounts before this began happening? Thanks for replying. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy 9 + and my husbands is a Galaxy 9 note. They are both updated. No changes has been made to either one recently.

We'd love to learn what happened and what needs to be done. Just to verify, this only happened the once? Did either of you add a new app before this happened, within the past week or so? Did anyone else on the contact list for either device also receive that text from either of you? Please let us know.

No, it was just the one time. As far as I know it didn't happen to anyone else on our contact list. I had tried to call my husband 10 minutes earlier and he didn't answer. He called me back right after.
