Something weird happening with android update screen

So, I had my phone, an S23, plus sitting off to the side, and when I had picked it up, it had a light blue screen saying it had to update, and that hitting the side key, it would start the restart, I hadn't read this yet untill I tried to hold the button to restart, then it said to hold the volume down and side key for more than 7 seconds to cancel and restart. So weird.

We understand how important it is to address why you're seeing a light blue screen on your S23+, Veillax.

 

Because your Samsung device is unresponsive with a light blue screen, restarting your device, would be our first recommendation.

 

When you force the restart, it simulates a battery disconnect which will help boot the device past the blue screen. 


Before you begin, ensure you have at least a 5% charge or plugged into a power source. Lets start by pressing the Volume down key and Power/Lock key at the same time for 15-25 seconds.

 

Our second recommendation would be to use this resource to troubleshoot your display screen. Just simply click the gray Start button to get started with fixing your issue.

 

Our third recommendation would be to use this resource to perform a software update. First scroll down to where it says, System.  Next, you will click, Fix software update issues. You'll then click where is says, Start. This will assist you with the software update.

So, restarting worked, but I'm still puzzled as to why and how it happened, if anyone knows.
