Software update one ui 6 for s23 ultra

Ive been seeing online that other people with locked att phones have been able to get the one ui 6 update for their s23 ultra but when I try to do it it keeps saying software update interrupted, please try again in 24 hours. It has been saying this for months and I already have tried everything and this is a new phone too so idk what to do and I am stuck, I cleared my network settings, and cleared the cache.

You don't need help.  You need to wait.  You said your brand new to AT&T so you don't know how it works. The update is rolled out slowly by IMEI. If you don't have it yet your IMEI is not yet batched to receive the rollout. It's done this way on purpose. AT&T's software update is specific to their network. If it's buggy they want to roll it out and wait for bug reports before progressing again.

I get it, you're anxious to update the phone. But AT&T learned a long time ago that it's better to roll it out slow and correct, than roll it out quick and have it be hot garbage. Back in 2015 they bricked a whole bunch of people's phones.

Well I can't imagine why it would be saying it for months when it was just recently released... 🤔

In order to update an AT&T branded Android You have to be in the United States using an AT&T SIM card and connected to the AT&T network.  You should also be using Wi-Fi to download for best results.

It's been saying this since September before it even came out and when the beta version was out

I've had this happen on a couple Samsung phones (S22 Ultra and Z Fold 4), both on AT&T.  I ended up needing both replaced under warranty.  Neither AT&T or Samsung was able to offer another solution.

Hello @Jake2205,

We hear you and we would like to help.  As updates are sent out in waves dependent on region and phone eligibility and serial number and build number you may find yours doesn't come through the same as others.

Please ensure to be connected on a Wi-Fi so that the download can be completed without any interruption. You check our website to get more steps to fix the update glitch on our website.

Let us know if this helps!

Thank you for posting on the AT&T Community Forums!

@ATTHelp

What regions as of right now have the update? Because I talked to a Samsung customer support and they said everyone with a s23 should have it by the end of this month.

Updates to AT&T devices are rolled out by IMEI

AT&T does not provide any further information

For the link https://www.att.com/device-support/article/wireless/000094310/Samsung/SamsungSMS918U

It shows the last update for my phone is on android 12 when it's on android 13.
