Send/Receive Texts not working after update Android Pie
We have two Note 8s. Only one received the Android 9 update. That device with the update can no longer send or receive text messages. We finally learned that advanced messaging has to be turned off just to get the texts to go through. But when doing so, the messages immediately disappear. On the device that has not received the update, it can send messages to the updated device just fine with advanced messaging on, but they arent received. So does this mean the update makes devices no longer compatible to communicate with devices that arent updated? The updated device is used to contact hundreds of people for work, as well. So this is going to be a MAJOR issue if no communication is allowed anymore. (Also, apparently the phone dies VERY fast with the update. Dropped 40% just trying to send texts)

Thank you for contacting us! We'd love to help. Have you tried starting the device in safe mode, to see if the problem still persists? To do so, turn the device off. Then:
See if the problem still occurs during this. If it does, we'll need to take this a step further. If it doesn't, then it likely means one of your apps may be the cause. We look forward to your response!

Yes, I send the message with Save Mode. Can I now switch the SAVE MODE off, please?
