Screen Lock Password

I recently changed my screenlock password on my Galaxy Express. I cannot remember it. Is there a way to do a factory reset or bypass it somehow?

Hi @Rhoward403,

Thank you for reaching out!

Please follow the steps in our Troubleshoot And Resolve tool for options on how to unlock your screen.

Hope this helps!

Hello,

If you Google search "hard reset Galaxy express at&t" to get step by step instructions on how to reset this device to get around a forgotten passcode. Two things beforehand, check when your google account backed up (as you'll be resetting phone memory and clearing anything not backed up to the cloud) and that you know your Gmail address and phone number. It will ask for the Gmail credentials upon restart as an extra security option for a lost phone. As a side note, there are some great deals on post paid and prepaid Android phones, visit your local corporate AT&T store to check them out.
