samsung tablet tv mode error message

I cannot get this message to go away - tv mode keeps stopping on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A - ATT

Please advise.

We want to make sure you aren't having to troubleshoot this error every time you turn your tablet on. Try putting a stop to this by following these steps:

  1. From the home screen, select the Settings icon.
  2. Go to Advanced Features.
  3. Switch off TV Mode.
  4. Restart your device by pressing and holding the Side and Volume Down buttons, then select Restart > Restart.

We also recommend you try clearing the cache of the apps you're using with TV mode, which helps performance and acts as basic troubleshooting.

TV Mode is a single swipe action that pulls up the tablet's various entertainment apps. To turn off this feature follow these steps:

  1. From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar then select the. Settings icon.
  2. Scroll to and select Advanced features.
  3. Select TV Mode
  4. Select the desired app> turn off>then select the back arrow when finished.

This does work for the long term.  I have to do this EVERYTIME I start up my tablet.  what now?
